Child Play Therapy in Vancouver, WA
In counseling of children, I use play therapy, sand tray therapy, therapeutic clay and other positive behavioral strategies, aimed at helping children heal from trauma, increase confidence, feel greater self-worth and reconnect with their inner strengths.
Oftentimes, children do not know how to express their feelings and do not disclose incidents of bullying or other
emotional hurt from stressful events until they come to counseling.
Children, who experienced trauma, are often unable to express their emotional pain in words.
Play therapy allows children make sense of their experiences and start healing via empowerment and regaining unconditional self-love and acceptance.
With more than 15 years of experience working with children who experienced trauma,
I am proud to say that I was able to help children heal and start enjoying childhood again.
If your child is facing emotional or behavioral challenges, I am here to help.
Together we can help your child heal from trauma, regain confidence and learn positive coping skills.
